Tetê e o Lírio Selvagem -"Tetê e o Lírio Selvagem" (Brasil) (1978) (hippie folk rock)

Well i am sorry, i couldnt find an english review for the band, nice hippie folk with a different female vocal, i think this is portuguese review for the band, it may be good for the readers if a portuguese speaking friend translate some parts or all from this review:

1. Hi - I'm still a beginner in Portuguese - this is my attempt at translating the review. Hope it is useful:

Originally, name of the band was LuzAzul. However for commercial purposes we had to change the name. It wasn't the only or most important change. We were still inexperienced, eager to issue our first album, to get into the song market. We made a lot of concessions and the original sound of the band had been quite tampered with in order to make it fit the sound that was typical at the time. In spite of everything, no one managed to cover what was most important in that work, the perfectly coupled sound of the brothers. Accustomed to singing together, there was no need for training. The music flows naturally under the direction of master Luiz Robert de Oliveira. The biggest innovation of this work was the rustic repertoire, the scent of countryside and a psychadelic touch common to the central region of Brazil, a place hardly explored, both geographically and musically. The image of the band was quite unusual. With woolen clothes, hand-painted by artist João Sebastião from Mato Grosso, the colours and exhuberance of the countryside landscape, our work already expressed the lack of ecological education, a long time before the word ecology was heard of. This work values the sounds of the region, the joy, the beauty, the mato-grosso way of life, and the worries about the destruction of the forest and the natural balance, values that earned us the most varied titles by the critics. With “Tetê and Lírio Selvagem” one may already start to talk about the Mato Grosso musical movement; though the fusion of composers, singers and poets it shows a new power, as proof of the human hope, whichever its region, and color of its language. (The State of Mato Grosso/Cuiabá, 21st March 1979)”
