Thank you very much dude! This is a damn good album. I love this kind of Jazz/rock Fusion. I really like when its sounds a bit more experimental and with that psychedelic/cosmic feeling, like the first 2 albums of Weather Report.
ReplyDeleteAnyone could recommend me other bands like this?
Thank you VERY much for this time capsule / gem! Do you have "Quasimodo" from Laboratorium as well by any shance?
ReplyDeleteSincerely yours,
Thalamus
es la peor vaina que he escuchado desde que alicia machado saco un disco
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed an amazing album, but not nearly as good as their later "Quasimodo" from 1979. I have both on vinyl ... so if anybody will ever have a chance to get it, buy it and ask questions later! :) CHEERS!!!!
ReplyDeletethank you very much for your comments :), "quasimodo" is coming...:)and more albums from polish jazz...

Hi everyone.
ReplyDeleteJust blogging to say that Polish jazz wouldn't be complete without PSI - Horizonte (1977). I hope you could share this album because it really lives up to the expectations.
I haven't heard this new post, but if it can match PSI then it will certainly be a seminal album.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
TB
Manelis, GREAT post. It's impressionant how funky this polishs guys can play. Thanks very much for this fusion pearl and for that Iasis's Amalgama too.
ReplyDeleteAndré - Brasil
Isn't PSI from Germany?
ReplyDeleteWhile we're on the subject (Polish Jazz), there is an album which I am trying to get since few years now: Piotr Figiel "Piotr" - http://www.diapazon.pl/PelnaPlyta.php?Id=906
ReplyDeleteIt may be the best jazz-rock album ever recorded :)
Thanks :))
Yeah, PSI are from Germany, not from Poland
ReplyDeleteHere is the opening track from "Quasimodo". Play it LOUD !!! :)

ReplyDeletePSI is indeed from Germany. I wanted to mentione SBB - Pamiec. Another great album though no so good as PSI, in my view.
Thanks for sharp eye!!
